What to do using School 360

School 360 has a number of different resources and it can hard to decide which options will be best for your child whilst they are learning at home.

One of the new resources on school 360 is 'Busy Things' which has a large range of options which are divided up by phase (Early Years, Key Stage 1 (years 1 & 2) and Key Stage 2 (years 3 & 4).  We suggest the following for different year groups:

Early Years (Nursery and Reception)

The Early Years option is split between nursery age, Reception and older Reception children.  Early Years children can do any of these activities which inspire their interest and curiosity.

Year 1 - Year 4

For the children in Years 1 - 4 we would like to point you in the direction of areas which link directed to our current topics where possible to avoid a 'scatter gun' approach.  They can choose any activity under English and maths but for the other subjects please see below for the different ages of children:

Year 1:
  • Science (choose Everyday materials or Seasonal Changes)
  • Computing (choose Early Coding or Computer Literacy)
  • Geography (choose Maps and Locational Knowledge)
  • History (choose World War 2 and then either evacuation or food and rationing)
  • RE (choose Christianity and then the Easter story activities)

Year 2:
  • Science (choose Everyday materials or Earth and space or Seasonal Changes)
  • Computing (choose Early Coding or Computer Literacy)
  • Geography (choose Maps and Locational Knowledge)
  • History (choose World War 2 and then either evacuation or food and rationing)
  • RE (choose Christianity and then the Easter story activities)

Key Stage 2 (years 3 and 4)
