Our trip to the Grace Darling museum and RNLI station

15th May 2023

We went to Bamburgh to visit the Grace Darling museum, see her grave and the house she lived in on Monday.  Meanwhile our nursery children went to visit the Busy Bees nursery in Seahouses.  In the afternoon, we all came together to visit the RNLI station in Seahouses.  The children were able to talk very knowledgeably about the different lifeboats as they had been learning about how they have changed over time.

We had a lovely message from Lynsey Carr, the Water Safety Officer at Seahouses Lifeboat Station.  She wrote:

“I would just like to say thank you for visiting us last week. What an amazing group of children you all are. You were an absolute pleasure to have visit us.  We rarely get children so young, so easy to engage with.  I hope you enjoyed the visit and will come again soon.”
