Remembrance

9th November 2018
It was very moving to attend our school Remembrance service at the War memorial in Lowick on Friday 9th November.  It was touching to have so many parents, families and members of the community join us there and to come back to school afterwards to warm up.  Our thanks to Margaret for the amazing red velvet cupcakes with the sugar poppies which accompanied our teas and coffees.

The children had decorated Remembrance Stones with the name of a soldier from the war memorial on the back of each one.  We laid them at the memorial during the service.  We were thankful for Rev John Vilaseca who delivered a blessing and prayer for the occasion.
