Holy Island and Lowick C. of E. First Schools are a federation - the children sometimes study together at Lowick, but when the tide rolls in, the Holy Island children and teacher cross over the causeway and work in the school there. Wherever we are though - we're 'Journeying Together'.
We aim to provide an attractive, stimulating and caring learning environment which will nurture the development and potential of every child in our care - enabling them to become effective independent learners who will have a positive and active approach to their future lives in society. We work to develop lively, enquiring minds which have the ability to question, investigate, solve problems and start to form the personal values that will help them make sense of the world in which they live and from positive social relationships. Finally, we aim to enable the children to communicate their feelings and ideas fluently, to be self reliant and able to use their initiative.

Thursday 26th November EYFS visit to Holy Island
Friday 4th December EYFS Open Morning - 9.00 - 11.15am
Wednesday 9th December Nativity at St Mary’s Church, Holy Island at 5.30pm. Children to wear black clothing. A packed lunch and a packed tea are required or Mrs Kornau will (as usual) offer soup and sausage rolls as an alternative to the packed tea. As usual, we will be taking the children to the Island for the whole day for rehearsals and the performance.
Tuesday 15th December Community Christmas Lunch – 12 noon. All welcome to attend. This will be followed by the Children’s Christmas Party
